We recently undertook a project to construct a new outdoor play area for the younger children (see photo above). The area is almost finished, and is looking great. To complete the project, we are looking for a way to provide shade for the children as they play. They have already begun taking advantage of the new space.

One of the primary reasons for the project was to provide a safe, contained area to take the toddlers during their outside play time. We think it is important for them to have this time outside of the "baby room," but we are also concerned about them spending too much time directly in the sun, especially in these hot summer months.
