Hogar Infantil La Gloria does not receive any financial support from
the Mexican government. We depend on your donations and appreciate your
contributions. There are many ways that you can help.
- Monetary Contributions
Monetary
contributions are needed to help fund the day to day expenses of the
orphanage. Your support allows us to employ round-the-clock caregivers,
pay utilities, and provide for the many incidentals that arise when
raising 50 children.
Your tax deductible donations can be made payable to Hogar Infantil Inc., the registered US 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization responsible for funding the orphanage.

- In-kind Donations: We are fortunate to limit our regular expenses by
accepting in-kind donations for many of our daily needs. Much of the
food used at Hogar Infantil as well as all of the clothing, shoes,
baby supplies, school supplies, and toys are donated. Donations can be
brought directly to Hogar Infantil or dropped off in the San Diego
area. Please contact us to schedule a donation. Our needs vary
throughout the year, so please see our list of current needs.
- Sponsorship: Some of our donors prefer to earmark donations for specific and
immediate needs. Benefactors can choose to sponsor a meal, a tutor's
weekly salary, a month's utility bill, annual dental check-ups for the
children, or any other of a host of our regular needs. If you are
interested in being a one-time or regular sponsor, please contact us.
- Special Needs: As we are constantly working on new projects to improve Hogar Infantil,
we find ourselves in need of benefactors to assist with special needs.
As these needs fall outside our daily operations, they can only be
completed with special support from our donors. Please consider
helping us meet our special needs.
